Interactive Screening Program

Life can be stressful at times. Whatever you’re struggling with – family pressures, work burnout, relationship issues, grief, stress or financial concerns – it is easy to get overwhelmed without an idea of where to turn for support. Please know that you are not alone and that support is available. Natividad hospital staff are invited to complete this brief anonymous questionnaire to get confidential feedback and support from an EAP counselor. The EAP counselor provides information and support for connecting to available mental health services.

Take 3 easy steps:

  1. Click the “Sign-up” button below
  2. Create a User ID and Password, allowing for complete anonymity
  3. Take and submit a brief (<10 minute) questionnaire

A counselor will review your questionnaire and post a personal response to you on the secure website. The response will include information, recommendations, and optional next steps. You decide what’s next. You will have the options of communicating with the counselor through the website, on the phone or in person. Or, you can decide to do nothing further at this point.

Protecting your Privacy

Your identity will not be known to the counselor unless you decided to share it. No one at Natividad has access to your records. It is completely confidential and anonymous.

Don’t wait to get advice or treatment. Take this important step to learn how stress, burnout and depression may be affecting you.

Flu Shot Information

It’s Time to Talk About the Flu!
Influenza (“flu”) is a contagious disease that spreads around the United States every winter, usually between October and May. Flu is caused by influenza viruses, and is spread mainly by coughing, sneezing, and close contact. Symptoms come on suddenly and may last several days. They can include: fever/chills, sore throat, muscle aches, fatigue, cough, headache, runny or stuffy nose.

Flu can make some people much sicker than others. These people include young children, people 65 and older, pregnant women, and people with certain health conditions – such as heart, lung or kidney disease, nervous system disorders, or a weakened immune system. Flu vaccination is especially important for these people and anyone in close contact with them.

Flu can also lead to pneumonia, and make existing medical conditions worse. It can cause diarrhea and seizures in children. Each year thousands of people in the United States die from flu, and many more are hospitalized. Flu vaccine is the best protection against flu and its complications. Flu vaccine also helps prevent spreading flu from person to person.
