Bargaining Unit Agreements
The County of Monterey negotiates with recognized employee labor organizations regarding wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. If an agreement is reached through this collective bargaining process, it is memorialized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which becomes a contract between the parties once it is ratified by the organization membership and the County Board of Supervisors.
